What is full-mouth restoration
A full-mouth restoration–also known as a full-mouth reconstruction–involves full range of dental services that we offer in our location. Each of which is designed to improve the health and appearance of your smile. Typically, a dentist will recommend restorations for patients who have teeth that are damaged, worn down or missing. Depending on your particular needs, one or more of the following treatments may be used to correct your dental problems:
- tooth bonding
- tooth-colored fillings
- porcelain veneers
- dental bridges
- dental implants
- dental crowns
What should I expect before restoration work begins?
At your first appointment, an oral exam will be done including taking x-rays, gathering your dental history and checking for neuromuscular problems. Then he or she will make treatment recommendations.
What will full-mouth restoration do for my appearance?
Teeth that are worn down, broken, chipped or missing can age you prematurely in appearance. A full-mouth restoration from Spring Branch Dental can create a more youthful smile that is as beautiful as it is natural-looking and work magic on your self-esteem.
What specific oral health issues qualify me for full-mouth restoration?
Following is a list of some of the problems and conditions that would make you a good candidate for cosmetic dentistry restoration procedures:
Severely damaged teeth; missing teeth (especially if their lack is causing your bite to be off); headaches, jaw pain, or popping sounds in the jaw region that are a result of temporomandibular disorder (TMD); and gum disease.
When you make an appointment at Spring Branch Dental, Dr. Chavez will evaluate your teeth and oral history to create a customized solution that addresses your specific issues. We will also work with you to make sure that the treatment you receive respects your budget.
