Melanie - Hygienist
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in dental hygiene at the UT Heath Science Center at San Antonio in 2014. I am committed to providing gentle, quality dental care to my patients while integrating the latest technology and procedures. My favorite thing about working at Spring Branch Dental care is the opportunity to provide care and get to know my patients better. When I am not helping my patients getting their teeth cleaned, you will mostly likely find me in the kitchen baking from scratch or playing my ukulele. Although I have been in San Antonio, for a while, I lived most of my life overseas. Just ask me what countries I have visited or lived. the caring team and that being a family oriented business we would be able to provide the best environment possible to our patients.
Colbi - Dental Assistant
Hi! My name is Colbi. I am a born Californian turned Texan! I love living in New Braunfels and hope to call it my home for a long time to come. I am very adventurous and love being active. My time outside of work is spent playing sports, Kayaking, hiking, and exploring new places I’ve never been before. I am married to the love of my life and we have 2 fur babies that we rescued from the humane society. I joined Dr. Chavez’s team in the summer of 2015 shortly after receiving my RDA license. I had no experience in the dental field. Dr. Chavez and his team took me under their wings and not only taught me
the fundamentals of assisting, but also taught me the importance of treating our patients like family, and making sure that your visit here can be the best visit possible. My work experience as a dental assistant has been truly positive one and I have absolutely fallen in love with dentistry. My future plans are to go to Dental Hygiene school so that I may expand my services to my patients and gain more knowledge in the field.
